All mobile food units need to have an annual license through the Kankakee County Health Department. New mobile food units must submit plans for review in addition to applying for a license.
Existing Mobile Unit
All active mobile units must apply for a new food license annually. Applications are due on or before the annual renewal date of January 1st. Applications received after January 15th will be charged a late fee of $50; applications received after January 30th will be charged a late fee $100.
